This sparkling pear & ginger cocktail is such an elegantly refreshing Christmas party signature and a perfect replacement for a Christmas morning mimosa. It’s floral and fruity, delicately ginger spiced and twinkling with festive bubbles.

Instructions

  • Follow recipe for pear & ginger cocktail syrup. Allow to cool, and strain.
  • Add a hand full of ice to a cocktail shaker and pour ½ oz. pear & ginger syrup, ½ oz. St Germain, ½ oz. fresh lemon juice and 3 oz. Prosecco. Gently stir and pour into a frosted glass.

Notes

To make the cocktail garnish:
Simply slice some pear and thinly slice into sections. Put 3 slices together and pierce through the bottom third with a cocktail pin and evenly fan them out. Cut and wash a small spring of baby’s breath and place it gently on top of the pear slices.
