Ingredients

  • ounces Michter's Rye whisky
  • ½ ounce Grand Marnier

  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice - about half a small lemon

  • ½ tsp. maple syrup

  • ¼  tsp. strawberry preserves - a fancy brand

Instructions

  • Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with a good handful of ice. Shake vigorously – enough to really break up the preserves. Pour into a frosted glass and serve.

Notes

If you don't want the preserves to float in the cocktail, make sure to pour into a strainer over your glass.
