A Beef and Portobello Mushroom Bourguignon Dinner Party

This Beef and Portobello Mushroom Bourguignon dinner party was so fun! I throw one every year, and this time, I was so happy to throw one for family!

On the menu! Traditional dill deviled eggs, stuffed brussels sprouts, a beautiful baked gruyere, a hearty Beef and Portobello Mushroom Bourguignon (of course) beet & pear salad and pumpkin cheesecake mousse!

I also served some elegant Lavender French Gimlets before dinner.

I always dreamed of having a fancy family dinner party when I was little. The ladies in my family always made such beautiful food and decorated their homes so elegantly, no matter how much money they had.

This was my first, real fancy lady dinner party for family. It was just as lovely as I hoped it would be.

I made some traditional and curry deviled eggs as appetizers. Here are the naked little eggs, awaiting their garnishes.

It didn’t last long.

I served my magical Lavender French Gimlets. They’re one of my top 5 cocktail party drinks. I made my very own cocktail lavender from organic lavender flowers. It’s so easy to create, and makes a fantastic gift!

Dinner time! My majestic Beef and Portobello Mushroom Bourguignon! Honestly, the recipe is so non-traditional, I can barely get away with calling it that, but I think it’s close enough. For the recipe, click here!

I also served an incredibly tasty beet and pear salad on the side. Theres nothing like paring rich Autumn flavors like Beef Bourguignon with earthy, fresh vegetables.

And for dessert, heavenly pumpkin cheesecake mousse with salted caramel and gingersnap crumble crust!

I also made these shockingly tasty Baileys Irish Cream and Cold Brew Mocha Coffee jello truffles!
